How do we integrate Lexi-Comp content?
Our drug information can be integrated via APIs, Web Services, or flat XML files via an FTP site.
How much does Data Licensing & Integration cost?
The cost of data licensing and integration can vary based on the number of databases licensed and the terms of the contract. We are focused on being a trusted and responsive partner, creating long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between organizations.
Is sample XML available?
Once a mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed, we can provide sample XML datasets. We include a demonstration that clients can use to help parse our XML datasets. The XML scripts include how to extract the name from each monograph in a dataset and how to create sample HTML from each monograph in a dataset. The scripts provided will serve as a guide to assist clients in working with the XML.
How can I test the Web Services?
Once a mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed, we will provide our WSDL and sample project.
How can I test the APIs?
Once a mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed, we will provide our API toolkit and a subscription to Lexi-Comp ONLINE.
What are the parameters for integration?
The NDC, Lexi-Comp global ID, or drug name is utilized to pass as a parameter in the calls to direct the user to the correct information within the Lexi-Comp database.
What are the Web Services requirements?
Web Service Description Language (WSDL) file for our web services. Currently it is compatible with Visual Studio 2005 (.NET Framework 2.0) and Java 1.4.2 and higher. Under .NET you must use the custom security object to allow for proper authentication. We also provide a Web Service's sample project which is for use in Visual Studio 2005 only.
